“Our adult volunteers, like their counterparts of fifty years ago, are still striving to create programmes encouraging cross-cultural friendships that will, over time, enable the participants to promote intercultural tolerance and cooperation. To continue these childhood experiences, our volunteers hold the key to CISV's future.”
Cathy Knoop, CISV President, Annual Review 2002
