CISV's Peace One Day Challenge!

Peace One Day is a charity that promotes the idea of one day a year free of conflict and war and is considered a Like Minded Organization by CISV Canada. Peace One Day created the event O ne Day One Goal to order to see soccer matches played in every country on Peace Day. In 2010 over 3000 matches were played in 200 countries including many by CISV nations and chapters. This year, as part of CISV’s focus on Conflict and Resolution, CISV is supporting Peace One Day with the CISV Peace Day Challenge —and we want you to take part! Your goal, and the goal of the Challenge is to raise awareness of different types of conflicts and participate in Peace Day activities on 21 September 2011. Peace Day 2011 marks the 365-day countdown to a day of ceasefire and non-violence on Peace Day 21 September 2012 - a Global Truce.
