DIRECTIONS TO WORKSHOPS

CENTRAL TRAINING

STEVENSON CHILDREN’S CAMP

Directions (from Toronto (about 2hrs) and Waterloo (about 1hr)):
•    Head WEST on HWY-401 W
•    Take exit 203 for HWY 73/Elgin Rd toward Aylmer
•    Turn RIGHT at HWY 73/Elgin Rd
•    Turn LEFT at Gore Rd
•    Camp will be on the Right

Directions (from downtown London (about 20 min)):
•    Head EAST on Dundas
•    Turn LEFT on Veterans Memorial Parkway
•    Turn RIGHT on Gore Rd
•    Camp will be on the Left

WESTERN TRAINING

GEORGE PRINGLE MEMORIAL CAMP

Special note: It is required for Western Training to rent/borrow a vehicle to drive the 60km's from Victoria Airport to the site. Carpooling is suggested.

Directions:
• Take HWY 17 from ferry/airport* to exit 7 for McKenzie Ave towards Sooke/Nanaimo.
•    Merge onto McKenzie Ave heading west.
•    Turn right onto the Trans Canada Hwy heading north towards Nanaimo.
•    The landmark to watch for is the Malahat Mountain Inn on the right.
•    Approx. 2 km. later, you will see a road sign which reads 'South End Shawnigan Lake' and a flashing yellow light on the highway.
•    Turn left at the flashing yellow light onto Shawnigan Lake Road.
•    Follow Shawnigan Lake Road over the railroad tracks and continue for approx. 6 km.
•    At the fork in the road, you will see a sign for 'Camp Pringle - 7 km.'
•    Turn left at this point onto West Shawnigan Lake Road and follow it for 7km.
•    Just after you pass the entrance for Shawnigan Lake Provincial Park, the entrance to Camp Pringle will be on your right. The entrance is well signed with large numbers showing '2520'.

*Ferry riders will drive right on to hwy 17 when leaving the ferry. Those arriving at the airport and renting a vehicle must follow signs to take Hwy 17 SOUTH

EASTERN TRAINING

YOHO SCOUT LODGE

Directions (from Quebec):

• Take AutoRoute 20 East heading towards New Brunswick (NB)
•    Merge onto AutoRoute 85 via Exit 499 towards Edmundston, NB
•    AutoRoute 85 becomes provincial route 185 when crossing into NB and then turns into Route 2 (new Trans Canada highway in NB)
•    From the NB Route 2 W Trans Canada Highway, take exit 271 for Mazerolle Settlement Road toward Hanwell/NB-640
•    Turn right at Mazerolle Settlement Road, drive 1.5 km
•    Turn right onto NB-640 S Drive approximately 10.5 km.
•    The driveway is the first left after the Yoho Lake Road (there is signage).

Directions (from Fredericton):

•    Drive from Fredericton in the direction of Woodstock/Edmunston
•    From the NB Route 2 W Trans Canada Highway take exit 271 for Mazerolle Settlement Road toward Hanwell/NB-640
•    Turn left at Mazerolle Settlement Road, drive 1.5 km
•    Turn right onto NB-640 S Drive approximately 10.5 km.
•    The driveway is the first left after the Yoho Lake Road (there is signage).
